Jennifer Retterer – graduated from Towson University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Instrumental Music Education. While at Towson University, Jennifer studied cello with Professor Cecylia Barczyk and was the was the 2007 recipient of the Ben O’Brien Scholarship for Music Education. Jennifer teaches elementary school band and orchestra for the Harford County Public School system. She has been involved with theater since a young age and has participated in many community theater productions around the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Her theater experience includes roles on-stage, in pit orchestras, and behind the scenes. In 2010, she conducted the pit orchestra for Wildwood Summer Theater’s production of Merrily We Role Along by Stephen Sondheim. In the winter of 2011, Jennifer directed Tom Stoppard’s Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead with MAD Productions in Greenbelt, MD. This production went on to receive first-runner up for Outstanding Play at the 2010-2011 Ruby Griffith Awards. Some of Jennifer’s favorite roles include Louisa in The Fantasticks, Julie Jordan in Carousel and Grace in Annie.
